Analisis Kesulitan Belajar Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Analysis of the Causes of Learning Difficulties in PAUD Kober Idrisiyyah Cilolohan aims to identify factors causing Learning Difficulties in Early Childhood Education, particularly in understanding and classifying animal habitats. This community service activity applies a Participatory Pedagogy approach through stages of planning, data collection via field observations and interviews, development of Interactive Learning Media, implementation of direct teaching, and evaluation of learning outcomes using pre-test and post-test assessments. The results show that Learning Difficulties are influenced by differences in cognitive abilities, limited exposure to certain types of animals, and low learning focus when conventional teaching methods are used. To address these issues, Interactive Learning Media themed on marine and land animals (Animal Adventure) was implemented and integrated with the traditional game Oray-Orayan as a form of Play-Based Learning. Evaluation results indicate an improvement in children's understanding after the implementation of Play-Based Learning activities. In conclusion, Learning Difficulties in Early Childhood Education can be reduced through Participatory Pedagogy, Interactive Learning Media, and Play-Based Learning approaches that align with children's developmental characteristics.
