Peer Review Process

Cendekia: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat employs a peer review system to uphold the quality, credibility, and academic integrity of its publications. The journal adopts a double-blind review procedure, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the evaluation process. This approach is intended to promote impartial assessments and minimize potential conflicts of interest.

Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening, commonly referred to as desk evaluation. During this stage, the editor assesses whether the manuscript aligns with the journal’s aims and scope and conducts a preliminary plagiarism check. Manuscripts that satisfy these initial requirements are subsequently assigned to at least two reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area.

The reviewers evaluate the manuscript’s academic quality, relevance, and overall suitability for publication before submitting their recommendations to the editor. Based on these assessments and the editor’s own evaluation, a final decision is made regarding whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected.
