This field study aims to describe students' learning difficulties with regard to the material on prayer movements and to analyze the application of educational games as a solution for learning fiqh at MDTU Idrisiyyah Tasikmalaya. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a field study method. Data was collected thru observation, interviews, documentation, and pre- and post-tests on 23 students aged 10–12 years. The research results show that the lecture and memorization methods make students less active and cause difficulty in remembering the sequence of prayer movements. The application of the educational game "Chain Message Wheel of Prayer Movements" is able to improve students' learning outcomes, activity, and cooperation. Thus, game-based learning is considered effective in improving understanding of fiqh material in non-formal education.
