This study, entitled “Improvisation Capsule: A Game-Based Learning Medium to Enhance Improvisational Public Speaking Skills of Adolescents,” aims to address the challenges faced by junior and senior high school students in developing improvisational public speaking abilities. The research was conducted to respond to the growing need for effective communication skills among teenagers who are actively involved in organizational activities, volunteering, and public speaking forums. The primary objective of this study is to design and evaluate a game-based learning medium that supports students’ spontaneity, confidence, and verbal creativity in public speaking contexts. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, involving observations, interviews, and implementation trials with students participating in public speaking extracurricular activities. Data were collected through field observations, student performance assessments, and reflective feedback, then analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that the “Improvisation Capsule” effectively helps students reduce dependence on scripts, improve sentence flow during spontaneous speech, and manage pauses more naturally. Additionally, the integration of local cultural values of mutual cooperation fostered collaboration and peer support during learning activities. In conclusion, the study demonstrates that the Improvisation Capsule successfully meets its objectives and can serve as an engaging and effective learning medium to enhance improvisational public speaking skills among adolescents.
