ANALISIS POTENSI PARIWISATA BERBASIS MASYARAKAT DI SITU SANGHYANG KECAMATAN TANJUNGJAYA KABUPATEN TASIKMALAYA

Abstract

The tourism importance of Tasikmalaya Regency in the context of West Java and the region is recognized. Through good planning, the Situ Sanghyang area is expected to become a major attraction, supporting the diversification of tourism products and the development of the Priangan Craft and Culture Leading Tourism Area. This research aims to reveal the potential of Situ Gede as a tourism attraction in Tanjung Jaya District. The research methods are field surveys, interviews, documentation studies, and literature studies. The development of tourism human resources in the Situ Sanghyang area needs to support the tourism human resource development policy of Tasikmalaya Regency, by increasing the quantity and quality of human resources and involving the community in regional tourism. The results showed that the focus of tourism development in the Situ Sanghyang area is agriculture-based, prioritizing environmental and cultural conservation, by involving the community in the planning, implementation, and supervision of development.
