Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of life skills education in the Equivalency Education program at SPNF SKB Ciamis Regency by looking at its effectiveness and impact. This research uses descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach and data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research obtained are the application of life skills education in equivalency education at SPNF SKB Ciamis Regency through the course program cannot be said to be very effective because there are still several problems, but for the application of an equality education learning model that integrates life skills education produces a good impact with curriculum development that is linked to policies, equality education curriculum. The conclusion of the application of life skills education in the Equivalency Education program is to develop the ability to think complexly, communicate effectively, and build cooperation so that learning citizens have the readiness and capability to work and have the character and ethics to enter the world of work.
