KEBUTUHAN BELAJAR TAUHID KELAS VII MADRASAH DINIYAH TAKMILIYAH AWALIYAH (MDTA)

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning on the obligatory and impossible attributes of Allah SWT is the foundation of faith and monotheism for elementary school students at the MDTA Yayasan Miftahul Huda Al-Hasbulloh Tasikmalaya grade 6. However, the practice is still dominated by monotonous lecture methods without media, causing low enthusiasm, engagement, and conceptual understanding. This qualitative descriptive study identified learning needs, mapped difficulties, and designed and tested the digitally integrated “Kotak Tauhid” media/game. Techniques included observation, tutor interviews, documentation, and pre-post tests. The results showed that students at the concrete operational stage were interested in interactive activities, but had difficulty with one-way lectures without visuals. The application of digital media and the Kotak Tauhid improved understanding, participation, and discussion. Tutors stated that it was easier to convey abstract material, while students found learning more enjoyable. Recommendation: develop educational game media and a sustainable participatory model to optimize monotheism learning.
