This research addresses learning difficulties in reading, writing, and numeracy (calistung) among early childhood education students at SPS TAAM Anwarul Barokah. The main objective is to develop an effective play-based learning game that integrates Sundanese cultural values. The study employed qualitative methods through observation, interviews, and pre-post test evaluation involving 16 children aged 4-6 years. A game titled "Trio Profesi Seru" was designed with three learning stations focusing on literacy, role-playing, and counting activities. Each station operates for 15 minutes with group rotation system. Results demonstrated significant improvement with average scores increasing from 2.0 to 2.69 (34.5% improvement). Students achieving maximum scores increased from 25% to 62.5%, while those with minimum scores decreased from 31.25% to 6.25%. The integration of local cultural elements through traditional clothing, Sundanese language, and regional songs like "Manuk Dadali" and "Tokecang" enhanced learning meaningfulness and cultural preservation. Student enthusiasm and confidence showed dramatic increases throughout the learning process. This study concludes that play-based learning effectively overcomes resistance to formal calistung instruction while maintaining optimal engagement and achieving academic objectives without excessive pressure.
