Abstract

Abstrak. Pancasila is the foundation of the Indonesian state. Pancasila consists of five principles, which are referred to as the five principles. These five principles are interconnected and form the basis of society throughout Indonesia, as well as the basis of education at all levels. The values contained in the Pancasila principles include religious values and tolerance in the first principle, humanitarian values in the second principle, unity in the third principle, leadership and wisdom in the fourth principle, and justice in the fifth principle. Therefore, the implementation of Pancasila values in education is crucial, considering that Pancasila consists of five important values that are inherent in the Indonesian people and foster a spirit of nationalism. The application of Pancasila values in education can be done through school activities, including flag ceremonies and teaching and learning activities, which must continue to be carried out to foster a spirit of nationalism and character at all levels of education. In implementing the values of Pancasila to shape the character of students, the school community, especially teachers in elementary schools, junior high schools, vocational high schools, and universities, are very supportive. In this study, the author conducted research in senior high schools so that students can improve their character in relation to the values of Pancasila for a better future. Research in senior high schools is very appropriate because the implementation of the independent curriculum is strongly supported by the elimination of specialization in senior high schools.
