Abstract

Abstract. The Profile of Pancasila Students represents learners who possess competencies and behaviors aligned with the values of Pancasila. This profile encompasses six core dimensions: faith in and devotion to God Almighty along with noble character, independence, critical reasoning, creativity, collaboration, and global diversity. This study aims to examine the implementation of the first dimension—faith, devotion, and noble character—through the Juz 30 Qur’an Memorization (Tahfidz) Program at SMAN 1 and SMAN 10 Tasikmalaya. The research employs a qualitative approach using a phenomenological method, focusing on the experiences of individuals involved in the program. The findings reveal that the Tahfidz program is implemented in three stages: planning, execution, and evaluation. Supporting factors that contribute to the success of the program include school facilities, family support, teacher engagement, and student interest. On the other hand, the main challenges arise from limited time and a lack of consistency. The implications of the program indicate that regular Qur’an recitation can foster students’ faith, devotion, and noble character in alignment with the values of the Profile of Pancasila Students. Thus, the Tahfidz program provides a tangible contribution to the holistic character development of students.
