The 12-year compulsory education program launched by the government aims to improve the quality of life of the community and reduce poverty. However, its implementation in areas such as Bungursari District, Tasikmalaya, still faces obstacles, especially among families receiving the Family Hope Program (PKH). This study identified two main factors causing low education participation: internal factors in the form of lack of parental support and low awareness of the importance of education, and external factors in the form of family economic limitations. Through the PINTAR Program, counseling was carried out directly to 47 participants with a participatory and symbolic approach, such as discussions and the "Hope Tree" activity. The evaluation results showed an increase in parental awareness of the importance of education, although economic pressures are still the main obstacle. In conclusion, increasing education participation requires synergy between social assistance and a contextual educational approach. Further education on financial literacy and the active role of parents are very important so that the assistance program has a direct impact on the sustainability of children's education in vulnerable communities.
