Abstract

Community service through outreach activities is carried out in an effort to empower the Rajadatu Village community through outreach activities in preparation for the arrangement of the Sumingkir Hill tourist area. The aim of this service is to increase active community participation in the development and arrangement of local tourist destinations. The service method involves a participatory approach and outreach activities to increase community understanding regarding the arrangement of tourist areas. The results of the service that has been carried out show increased community involvement, understanding of the benefits of structuring tourist areas, and local economic potential. The implication of this service is the importance of joint efforts between the government and the community in efforts to pioneer and develop tourism potential to achieve sustainable development at the village level.
