IMPLEMENTASI TEKNOLOGI SMART MOSQUE BERBASIS WEBSITE DALAMPENGELOLAAN MASJID DAN PEMBERDAYAAN UMAT

Abstract

This community service program, entitled “Implementation of a Website-Based Smart Mosque to Improve Mosque Management and Community Services,” was conducted to address challenges in mosque administration, information management, financial transparency, community participation, and the capacity of mosque administrators. The program aimed to improve the effectiveness, transparency, and accessibility of mosque management through the implementation of a website- based Smart Mosque system. A participatory approach was applied by actively involving mosque administrators in problem identification, planning, implementation, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The activities included system planning, website development and testing, socialization, hands-on training, technology implementation, and follow-up assistance. The results showed that the Smart Mosque website could support the management of religious activity information, congregation data, activity documentation, financial records, and digital donation services. The implementation also improved administrators’ understanding and ability to manage and update information independently. Furthermore, digitalization provided easier access to mosque information for the congregation and supported more organized and transparent administrative processes. Overall, the program achieved its main objectives by providing an appropriate digital solution, strengthening the capacity of mosque administrators, and supporting more effective, transparent, and sustainable mosque management.
