This community service program, entitled “Application of Industrial Waste-Based Autofeeder Technology to Improve Feed Efficiency in Fish Farming,” was conducted to address problems faced by the RF Gustaman Koi Center fish farming group in Gunajaya Village, particularly manual feeding practices, low feed efficiency, limited access to appropriate technology, and the underutilization of industrial waste. The program aimed to improve feeding management through the application of a simple, affordable, and easily replicable autofeeder technology made partly from recycled industrial waste. A participatory approach was applied through problem identification, planning, preparation, socialization, technical training, technology implementation, field assistance, and evaluation. The results showed that the autofeeder was able to distribute feed more regularly and controllably than the previous manual method. Participants also demonstrated improved understanding of the components, assembly process, operation, and basic maintenance of the technology. The utilization of recycled materials provided an additional benefit by converting previously underutilized industrial waste into a functional technological product. Overall, the program achieved its main objectives by providing an appropriate technological solution, improving the capacity of fish farmers, supporting more efficient feed management, and encouraging the sustainable utilization of industrial waste.
