The internalization of discipline and responsibility values in the daily behavior of students requires a structured mentoring and evaluation approach. Although Zawiyah Islamic Boarding School routinely organizes various religious and social activities, its mechanisms for character development and evaluation have not yet been systematically documented. This Community Service (PkM) program aimed to optimize the development of students’ discipline and responsibility through a participatory mentoring approach based on habituation. The method employed as Participatory Action Research (PAR), consisting of six systematic stages: needs identification, planning, habituation implementation, mentoring, monitoring and reflection, and evaluation and follow-up. The program involved the active participation of caregivers, administrators, ustaz, ustazah, and students. Data ere collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and character monitoring sheets, and ere subsequently analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed improvements in students’ discipline in performing congregational prayers and attending daily activities on time, increased responsibility for maintaining environmental cleanliness, and strengthened social awareness. In addition, the program successfully institutionalized a character monitoring instrument as a sustainable operational guideline for the administrators. The integration of mentoring through religious and social activities provided a structured, effective, and sustainable framework for character development in the Islamic boarding school.
