EDUKASI LITERASI DIGITAL MELALUI MEDIA ULAR TANGGA

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the digital literacy skill of students in class X-6 at SMAN 4 Tasikmalaya by fostering their ability to become smart, careful, and responsible digital users. The program was carried out as a response to the growing cahllanges faced by teenagers in navigating the digital environment, including misinformation, digital ethics, privacy issues, and risky online behavior. The method used in this activity involved interactive learning sessions, group discussions, case-based analysis, and hands-on practice related to evaluating online information and recognizing digital risks. The result indicated an increase in students’ understanding of credible information sources, responsible use of social media, and awareness of digital footprints. Furthermore, students demonstrated improved critical thinking skill in identifying hoaxes and engaging ethically in online interactions. This program highlight the importance of strengthening digital literacy among high school students as a preventive effort against negative digital exposure. Overall, the service activity successfully achieved it’s objectives and contributed positively to students’digital awareness, behavior, and responsibility.
