EFEKTIVITAS PELATIHAN KEWIRAUSAHAAN PEMULA DALAM MENINGKATKAN KAPASITAS WIRAUSAHAWAN

Abstract

Entrepreneurship plays a vital role in supporting local economic growth by creating employment opportunities, encouraging innovation, and improving community welfare. However, many beginner entrepreneurs in Tasikmalaya City still face challenges, including limited business knowledge, weak managerial skills, low financial literacy, and inadequate business planning. These issues hinder their ability to develop sustainable businesses. This community service program aimed to enhance participants’ entrepreneurial capacity through a needs-based beginner entrepreneurship training. The three-day program employed participatory approaches, a Competency-Based Curriculum, and interactive lectures combined with discussions and practical exercises. Training materials covered entrepreneurial mindset development, business opportunity identification, Business Model Canvas analysis, simple financial planning, and business plan preparation. The results showed significant improvements in participants’ ability to formulate business models, estimate capital requirements, and prepare structured business plans. Overall, the program effectively strengthened entrepreneurial competencies, increased participants’ confidence to start or develop businesses, and supported sustainable community empowerment and local economic development.
