This community service activity aims to enhance parents’ understanding and skills in applying effective communication with young children at TK Dharma Wanita Wanengpaten, Kediri. The program was initiated in response to the ongoing prevalence of less effective parent–child communication patterns, including one-way communication, limited empathy, and parents’ inadequate understanding of early childhood developmental characteristics. The implementation methods consisted of parenting education sessions, interactive discussions, and simple practical exercises on effective communication strategies in everyday parenting. The participants involved were parents of children enrolled at TK Dharma Wanita Wanengpaten. The results show an improvement in parents’ understanding of the principles of effective communication, increased awareness of the role of communication in children’s social and emotional development, and positive changes in parents’ attitudes toward being more open and responsive in their interactions with their children. Overall, this activity contributes positively to strengthening collaboration between parents and schools and supports the creation of a more harmonious and supportive parenting environment for early childhood development.
