Abstract

This community service activity was conducted at Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) Pustaka Prima with the aim of enhancing learning activity, creativity, and innovation among community learners through the implementation of diverse non-formal educational programs. The program was designed based on initial observations indicating that the utilization of TBM was still limited to reading activities, with the absence of art-based programs and low participation among adolescents. The implementation methods included observation, program planning, activity execution, and evaluation. The activities consisted of literacy mentoring, digital literacy training, public speaking training, digital entrepreneurship, angklung art activities, storytelling sessions, and a stage performance as a form of appreciation. The results indicated an increase in learning interest, particularly among adolescents, as reflected in higher engagement in discussions, improved public speaking skills, and increased interest in digital entrepreneurship. In addition, TBM began to develop as a more creative and innovative learning space that supports the development of learners’ potential. Overall, this program demonstrates that TBM has the potential to function more optimally as an alternative educational center that promotes literacy culture, creativity, and community independence.
