PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN KEWIRAUSAHAAN DALAM KELOMPOK WANITA TANI UNTUK DIVERSIFIKASI PRODUK PERTANIAN

Abstract

This study is grounded in the significance of women's economic empowerment as a strategic effort to address gender disparities and enhance community welfare, with a specific focus on the Edelweiss Women Farmers Group located in Nagarasari Subdistrict, Cipedes District, Tasikmalaya City. The primary objective of this research is to analyze the role of social entrepreneurship in empowering women, to identify the obstacles encountered in its implementation, and to evaluate the impact of such initiatives on the overall well-being of the group members. This study employs a descriptive qualitative case study approach, utilizing in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation techniques. The findings indicate that social entrepreneurship practices within the women farmers group have proven effective in empowering women by fostering improvements in economic conditions, social standing, and individual autonomy within the community.
