Rajadatu Village is one of the villages located in Cineam District, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java. Rajadatu Village is currently in the process of establishing itself as a Tourist Village due to its numerous and appealing potentials, making it suitable as a tourist attraction. The Rajadatu Tourist Village emphasizes the daily activities of the community as a tourism product managed by the Rajadatu Village Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) under the auspices of the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) Santana Rajadatu. The physical participation of the Rajadatu village community includes the preparation of tourist sites, and skill participation involving village officials and the community through educational preparations necessary for developing the tourist village area. The purpose of this community service is to examine the forms of community participation in the development of the tourist village, specifically the preparation of the Sumingkir Hill tourist area. The forms of participation by the Rajadatu village community and tourist village managers have involved the community in contributing ideas regarding the strengths and weaknesses of the tourist village. The inhibiting factor for community participation is low motivation, while the supporting factors are awareness and well-established communication.
